Introductory Paragraph of Essay

Introductory paragraph of Essay has three parts. There are hook, transition, and thesis.
Hook is introduction part that used interesting the reader to read the writting.

Kinds of hook
1. Personal example
Introductory paragraph that is taken from a story, experience, or incident of someone in the life.

2. Current even
Introductory paragraph that is taken from true even. It is more similar to news.

3. Quotation
The important words that is used to interest the reader to read. Usually use sign quotation.

4. Contast with thesis
Introductory paragraph that contrast between hook and thesis. Usually include conjuntion such as: but, however, although, etc.

5. Rhetorical question
Introductory paragraph that use rhetorical question that can be answered or there is no answer of the question

6. Fact and statistic
Introductory paragraph that is taken from fact of a incident, observation, or result of research that was accepted the fact. It is something that relevant with data also.

Transition is communicators that used to connect between hook and thesis. It is can have the shape of clause, phrase, or expression that can be connected between hook and thesis in introduction paragraph. It is usually with conjuntion.

Thesis is part that will be explained in body of essay. Each paragraph will be a topic of paragraph. It can have the shape of noun, phrase, or clause.
